Commemorating the life and athletic accomplishments of the greatest and most versatile female athlete of the early 20th century, the Babe Zaharias Museum invites visitors to delve into its impressive array of Olympic medals, sports trophies, newspaper clippings, photographs and memorabilia highlighting Ms. Zaharias's accomplishments as an American sports hero, as well as her role as an important cultural pioneer who challenged the ideas of what a female athlete should be. Through the exhibits of this wonderful museum, visitors can acquaint or reacquaint themselves with Babe, a three-time basketball All-American, world-class golfer and winner of three Olympic track and field medals. The museum is located inside Babe Zaharias Park, just 4 miles northwest of the Edison Museum.
